Why We Created Algonot

There are many glucosamine and chondroitin products on the market. Unfortunately, most of them are serendipitous combinations of the two desired ingredients plus additives.
Our goal is to develop glucosamine and chondroitin supplements that are based on scientific research and address the needs of patients with inflammatory diseases.

We identify these needs as:
• Blocking the triggers of inflammatory diseases
• Relieving the symptoms of inflammatory diseases
• Promoting maximum absorption of chondroitin
(chondroitin's large molecular size inhibits absorption)

As further goals we sought to develop products that are safe, tolerable and very effective. We are pleased to offer a line of products that meet our goals.

Research Commitment

We are dedicated to further mast cell research into inflammatory conditions. As a testament to our commitment, portions of our proceeds go toward supporting current and future research.

Scientific Formulation

The unique patented formulas behind Algonot's family of nutraceuticals are predicated on mast cell research.
These formulas were created with the guidance of an internationally recognized Scientific Advisory Board.
An independent testing laboratory has certified that our ingredients are pure, safe and in proper proportions.

How Algonot Started

Algonot is a collaboration of Dr. Theoharidies and two of his patients. These patients wished to contribute to Dr. Theoharidies research and develop a method to deliver the same results they experienced to other people inflicted with inflammatory disease. The Company Algonot formed as a way to bring the products of Dr. Theoharidies research to the general public. Introduced last July after years of research and development went into making our all natural products available in the United States and abroad.

About the People

T.C. Theoharides, MD, Ph.D. developed the formulas for all of Algonot's family of nutraceuticals.
The Scientific Advisory Board that guides Algonot's family of nutraceuticals includes internationally acclaimed physicians and scientists. They have published extensively on inflammatory diseases. Abstracts and references to their research are available in the Research Portion of this CD-ROM.
