ArthroSoft® is an all natural oral dietary supplement in a soft gel capsule which was formulated based on the scientific research of Dr. Theoharides M.D., PhD. It contains equal amounts of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, as well as quercetin. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are natural substances found in our bodies around the cells of cartilage. Quercetin is a natural non-acidic flavanoid, with potent anti-inflammatory capabilities. Unique to our formulations is olive kernel oil, a powerful anti-oxidant that is instrumental in helping the body absorb and delivery the dry ingredients found in each soft gel capsule. ArthroSoft® is free from artificial colors or flavors, corn, milk products, preservatives, salt, starch, sugar, wheat or yeast. Our ingredients are not obtained from beef or beef by-products.
Glucosamine Sulfate (Shellfish Chitin > 95% Pure) is an amino sugar that the body produces and distributes to be a key building block of joint cartilage and other connective tissue in the soft material between bones and joints. It is a building block for the GI Protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and mucosa layers found throughout the body. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties.
Chondroitin Sulfate (Shark Cartilage > 95% Pure) is a complex carbohydrate that the body produces and distributes to help cartilage retain water. It is the main component of cartilage and mucosa layers and forms the connective tissue that holds muscles, nerves, and blood vessels together. Because of this, it is a building block component for the GI protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and mucosa layers found throughout the body. Chondroitin sulfate also inhibits the release of enzymes that trigger joint destruction.
Quercetin (Saphora Plant > 95% Pure) is added to ArthroSoft® to help the body relieve the swelling associated fwith inflammation and protect from further damage associated with mast cell activation. The Quercetin used in ArthroSoft® is obtained from the saphora plant and is a natural non-acidic flavanoid with potent anti-inflammatory capabilities. Algonot decisively choose not to use the more common and less expensive source of fava beans, which could cause hemolytic anemia, particularly in people of Mediterranean origin.
Flavonoids are natural molecules found mostly in green plants and seeds. Unfortunately, our modern life diet contains progressively fewer flavonoids and those that are consumed are difficult to absorb because they do not dissolve in water. Under these conditions, the average person cannot consume enough to make a positive health difference. Olive Kernel Oil (Unprocessed, MicroFiltered) Olive kernel oil is a potent low-acidic anti-oxidant that can help repair damaged tissues. This oil (a lipid) plays an important role in ArthroSoft® because it is effective in helping the body to absorb chondroitin, glucosamine and quercetin. We use only virgin olive seed oil from the island of Crete.
Other Ingredients: Gelatin (not from beef), soy lecithin, beeswax, glycerin, purified water, titanium dioxide and carob extract. Contains: fish (shark), shellfish chitin (shrimp, crab, lobster), and soy.
ArthroSoft® is not a cure and it may not offer immediate relief of pain and suffering. As inflammation takes time to develop, it takes time to reverse the damage done to the body. It may take up to 90 -120 days for ArthroSoft® to offer you relief from your symptoms.

Dosage
Each bottle contains 120 soft gel capsules.
Take 2 capsules twice daily. If your symptoms are severe, you may increase your dose to 3 capsules three times daily.
For those with acid reflux, IBS or a sensitive stomach, we recommend a slow approach for first time use.
Day 1 & 2: Take one capsule a day, with a full meal.
Day 3 – 7: Take one capsule twice a day with a meal.
After the first seven days: Increase to the full dosage as directed on bottle or by your health care provider.
Note: If you experience stomach upset when taking any Algonot nutraceuticals, try freezing the capsules for approximately 60 minutes before taking them to slow the release of the product into the stomach.
