Why We Created Algonot

There are many nutraceuticals in today’s market that contain some of our key ingredients. Unfortunately, most of them are arbitrary combinations of ingredients plus additives. We have numerous goals in developing our line of unique nutraceuticals. First and foremost our nutraceuticals must be effective, safe and tolerable. Research and attention are put into each of our key ingredient’s source and purity as well as the molecular size and health concern. The exclusive Olive Kernel Oil distinctive to our formulations is used for the greatest absorption of key ingredients. One other goal is to develop nutraceuticals that address the current and underlying needs of our customers with inflammatory diseases.

We identify these needs as:

• BLOCKING the triggers of inflammatory diseases
• REDUCE and relieve present symptoms of swelling caused by current inflammatory diseases
• REPAIR and RENEW areas damaged by the activation and secretion from stimulated mast cells
• PROTECT existing cells from further damage
• PROMOTE maximum absorption of key ingredients

These formulas were created with the guidance of an internationally recognized Scientific Advisory Board.
An independent testing laboratory has certified that our ingredients are pure, safe and in proper proportions.

FDA Certificate of Free Sale

All of Algonot’s nutraceuticals are dietary supplements and therefore do not require FDA approval. However, to corroborate our standards and goal as a company, all of Algonot’s nutraceuticals have an FDA Certificate. Algonot is proud to go this extra measure for our customer’s satisfaction.

An FDA Certificate of Free Sale lets you know that the FDA has certified that:

• the manufacturer follows "best practices" as defined by the GMP manufacturing practices.
• the amount of ingredients used have been inspected to be correct and accurate.
• all ingredients used in Algonot’s nutraceuticals are of the purity and source specified.

An FDA Certificate of Free Sale is not required for over-the-counter, non-prescription supplements. However, without this certificate, it can leave you, the consumer, to be unsure if the manufacturer and company are using pure ingredients in the amounts stated on their label. With these certificates, the consumer can trust the manufacturing process and ingredient integrity adheres to the high standards set by the FDAis pure and with the highest level of ingredient integrity.

How Algonot Started

Algonot is a collaboration of Dr. Theoharides and two interested individuals who benefited from Dr. Theoharide’s medical advice. These individuals wished to contribute to Dr. Theoharides’ research and develop a method to deliver the same results they experienced to other people experiencing problems from inflammatory diseases. Algonot was formed as a way to bring the products of Dr. Theoharides research to the general public. After years of research and development, our first product, Algonot Plus, was launched in the year 2000 with great success. This encouraged the company to continue with our goals and create our present line of all natural nutraceuticals available in the United States and Internationally.

About the People

T.C. Theoharides, MD, Ph.D. developed the formulas for all of Algonot's family of nutraceuticals.
The Scientific Advisory Board that guides Algonot's family of nutraceuticals includes internationally acclaimed physicians and scientists. They have published extensively on inflammatory diseases. Abstracts and references to their research are available in the Research Portion of this CD-ROM.

The Scientific Advisory Board

All of Algonot’s Nutraceuticals are developed by T.C. Theoharides, Ph.D., M.D. The Scientific Advisory Board that supports Algonot LLC includes internationally recognized physicians and scientists who have published extensively on inflammatory diseases.
